"Celebrating the Triumph of the Under-17 Tennis Team at the Sri Lanka Inter-School Tennis Tournament 2023"

"On behalf of our school management, the Past Pupils Association proudly organized a special event to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our Under-17 Tennis Team, who secured another national championship victory at the Sri Lanka Inter-School Tennis Tournament 2023 in Division 2 - Plate Category. This exceptional team had previously secured the national-level championship in last week's tournament, showcasing their unwavering talent and dedication.

The event took place at the prestigious Cartman Hall within the school premises and was graced by the presence of the Principal of the Methodist Central College. During this memorable occasion, we extended a warm welcome to the players, coaches, and the parents of the team players with a vibrant welcome band performance.

As a token of our appreciation, special trophies and medals were presented to the players in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments. Additionally, the coaches were honored with appreciation shields for their invaluable guidance and support.

This heartfelt event was thoughtfully organized by the Past Pupils Association of Methodist Central College, Batticaloa, as a gesture of pride and gratitude for the achievements of our exceptional tennis.
