His appointment takes effect from July 19, and he will serve in this prestigious role for the next six months, leading strategic operations, infrastructure development, and major public investments in one of Victoria’s key metropolitan regions.

Vinojith is a Civil Engineering graduate of the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka — an institution known for shaping top-tier professionals. Over the past two decades, he has carved out an inspiring career in public service, with an unwavering commitment to community development and civic leadership. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Director of Infrastructure and Operations at Frankston, where he oversaw critical infrastructure upgrades and city-wide projects.

His professional journey reflects not just technical expertise, but also the values of integrity, perseverance, and service — values that are deeply rooted in the Centralite spirit.
