"Annual General Meeting - 2023"
The Past Pupils Association of Methodist Central College, Batticaloa, conducted its Annual General Meeting along with the election of the new governing body on 08-07-2023.
During this year's AGM at the college's auditorium, Mr. R. Baskar, the Principal of the School, presented the achievements of the school and the challenges faced by them. The former President of the PPA. Mr. S. Paheerathan provided a detailed account of their activities and how they tackled challenges during their time. Mr. S. Kajanthan, the General Secretary, presented the Meeting Minutes of the AGM, and Mr. T. Gerushon, the Treasurer, also presented the financial report.
Dr. Ajith Thamboo, Chairman of the William Ault Trust fund, delivered a speech expressing his ideas to further develop the William Ault Trust fund.
Mr. U. Mauran was elected as the president of the new governing body, Mr. Thibeaskar as the general secretary, Mr. Dominik Jeyathilak as the treasurer, and Mr. Uthayaruban and Mr. Subakanth as vice presidents, along with 13 other members of the governing body.
